The Story
The Story Behind Jaeide X
I've been writing since I was five years old.
Writing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through words, I've found a way to capture experiences, process what I'm living, tell stories, and express things that aren't always easy to say out loud.
Poetry has become an especially meaningful part of that journey. I use poetry to share my experiences, my perspective, and the things I continue to discover about myself and the world around me.
I've also spent more than 30 years as an instructor. Teaching has given me a lifelong appreciation for learning, communication, and the opportunity to connect with people.
I've traveled to and through more than 30 states, and every place I've encountered has given me another opportunity to experience people, stories, perspectives, and communities.
At the heart of it all, I love people.
